Our founder Jim Quirk has been in the medical gas industry since 1982, and our team consists of degreed and certified service managers with decades of experience. GasMedix specializes in providing all of a healthcare organization’s medical gas equipment needs. In all of our testing, we provide documentation in a format easily recognizable by CMS, Joint Commission, HFAP and other surveyors. In January 2022, GasMedix was acquired by Medical Technology Associates, a national leader in the Medical Gas and Controlled Environment industries providing compliance solutions for patient life safety across the U.S. As a single source provider, MTA delivers a wide range of Medical Gas, Environmental Monitoring and Controlled Environment testing and equipment solutions to healthcare facilities centered on service excellence.

Boom testing and service
The NFPA 99 2012 requirement is that each boom shall be leak tested and that hoses shall be visually inspected. The frequency of this test must be not less than every 18 months. GasMedix service technicians are trained on articulating boom repair and hold ASSE 6040 credentials. Learn More →

Certifications are all done by 6030 certifiers, and are compliant to the NFPA99, FDA, CFR 21-210,211, CGA M-1 and ASSE 6030 Standard. We certify medical gas systems throughout the Midwest: new facilities, additions, and renovations. Learn More →

Gasmedix is fully certified ASSE 6050 and available for engineering and med gas training all over the Midwest. We offer a carefully crafted curriculum that makes it easy for hospital staff to learn the necessary regulations and procedures for becoming 6010 or 6040 certified.
